- 30 day - Warranty period applies to Refurbished items
- 1 year - Warranty period of 12 months applies on new retail Next-Gen graphics cards
3. GeForce RTX 30 Series Cryptocurrency Mining Graphics Cards Policy
- 0 Day - No warranty coverage on any Next-Gen Cryptocurrency Mining Graphics Cards
4. GeForce GTX 16 Series Graphics Cards Policy
- 30 days - Warranty period for applies to Refurbished items
- 1 year - Warranty period of 12 months applies on new retail Next-Gen graphics cards
5. Warranty Exclusions
- The following circumstances excluded from warranty coverage.
Products meeting one or more of the following conditions shall not be eligible for Next-Gen warranty service, regardless of whether the limited warranty period has expired or not. Next-Gen may either refuse to provide maintenance services or may require payment of surcharges relating to two way shipping, labor, and parts charges before effectuating repair services:
- The product or warranty label has been defaced, altered or rendered difficult or impossible to decipher such that the serial number is falsified, missing, or no longer discernible (all serial numbers are recorded and tracked for warranty purposes)
- Any addition, alteration, installation, modification, removal, or repair of the product, product parts, or product software by any non- Next-Gen authorized third parties
- Any breakdown or damage caused by the use of parts or software not authorized or recommended by Next-Gen
- Any breakdown or damage to the product caused by the improper or abnormal use by the product user, including but not limited to circumstances such as operation error, failure to comply with user manual instructions, improper storage, , and improper usage environment that may result in product exposure to water, excessive moisture, corrosion, physical impact, compression, scratches, high temperature, improper voltage, etc.
- Any breakdown or damage caused by natural disasters and human calamities such as earthquakes, fires, thunder, faulty power grid, and other environmental factors
- Product associated internal or consumable items such as boxes, battery, earphones, and user manuals are not covered by warranty
- Product that is not purchased from the Next-Gen Online Store, or Authorized Resellers and Distributors. If the product was purchased from Amazon, eBay, Newegg, leased or loaned by a third party is NOT eligible for warranty.
- Damage caused by shipping carrier;
- Hardware or software incompatibility issue(s);
- Installation, removal, and set-up service charges.
- The product or warranty label has been defaced, altered or rendered difficult or impossible to decipher such that the serial number is falsified, missing, or no longer discernible (all serial numbers are recorded and tracked for warranty purposes)
5. Serial Numbers And Manufacturing Dates
- The S/N stands for Serial Number and this label is located on the retail box
- Example 1: Graphics Cards
- Within the serial number after the letter B, the 16 represents the year and the 09 represents the month of manufacture. In this example, this VGA card was manufactured on September 2016.
The Serial Number sticker is located on the backplate of the graphics card.
